About the Journal

A BRIEF HISTORY

The Brazilian Journal of Urban and Regional Studies (RBEUR) is published by the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Urban and Regional Planning (ANPUR), a private, nonprofit legal entity. ANPUR brings together postgraduate university programs and Brazilian entities engaged in teaching and/or research activities in the field of urban and regional studies and urban and regional planning. In 2015, the journal adopted a quarterly format with open access in print and electronic editions under a Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY). In 2019, the journal transitioned to an exclusively online, continuous publication format.
