João Carlos Carvalhaes Monteiro, Universidade Federal Fluminense, Departamento de Geografia, Niterói, RJ, Brazil

Geógrafo pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), mestre em Planejamento Urbano e Regional pelo Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano e Regional da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (IPPUR/UFRJ) e doutor em Geografia pela UFF. Realiza estágio pós-doutoral em Geografia nessa instituição e atua como cocoordenador do Observatório do Centro de Niterói (ObservaCentro).
