Digital assets

Visual elements must comply with the following standards:

• Tables and Charts: Each table and chart must be cited in the body of the text, and submitted as separate files in .xlsx or .xls (Excel) format. Each file should be labeled with the corresponding table or chart name as it appears in the manuscript. Charts may be in color, and tables should not contain merged cells.
• Images, Figures, and Photographs: Each image, figure, and photograph must be cited in the body of the text, and submitted as separate files, named exactly as they appear in the manuscript. Files must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, a minimum width of 1,200 pixels, and be in .jpg, .tiff, or .png format. For images sourced from third parties or obtained from the internet, authors must provide the corresponding permissions.
