Article Submission Format
- Manuscripts submitted to the "Articles" section must have between 40,000 and 50,000 characters, including spaces. This includes the title, abstract, tables, graphs, figures, references, and footnotes. Up to 10 visual elements may be included in each article.
- Manuscripts submitted to the “Review” section must have a maximum of 18,000 characters, including spaces. This includes titles and references, when necessary.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format to allow the removal of personal information from the metadata, ensuring the integrity of the blind peer review process. The text should be in Arial, size 11, with 1.5 line spacing and margins of 2.5 cm on all sides.
- The title and subtitles must be numbered and formatted as follows:
Title: Arial, size 14, regular, bold; - Subtitle 1: Arial, size 12, regular, bold;
1.1. Subtitle 2: Arial, size 11, italic, bold;
1.1.1. Subtitle 3: Arial, size 11, underlined.
- All articles must include abstracts in both Portuguese (“resumo”) and in English, each containing between 100 and 150 words, along with five to seven keywords. At least three of these keywords must be selected from a list of pre-established terms provided by RBEUR, available at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YKlzR593Xo8vDfYv9_l3_dHh1SlHZ-eo&usp=drive_fs. As a journal dedicated to urban and regional studies, it is recommended that, whenever appropriate, the last keyword proposed by the authors refers to the study area of the manuscript (e.g. city, region, country, etc.).
- Tables and charts, in addition to being embedded in the text, must be submitted separately in .xlsx or .xls (Excel) format.
- Figures, in addition to being embedded in the text, must be submitted separately with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, a minimum width of 1,200 pixels, and in .jpg, .tiff, or .png format.
- Footnotes should be used only for supplementary and substantive information. They must be formatted in Arial, size 9, with single line spacing.
- Authors should submit the following supplementary documents at the time of submission:
